PAUL M. SHEARER received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1999.  He attended the Cleveland State University where he received a Master of Public Administration and Juris Doctor in 2003.  Following law school, Attorney Shearer spent six years as a as a general defense attorney with a major defense law firm concentrating on personal injury, general liability and workers’ compensation matters.  Attorney Shearer then worked as a senior associate with a multi-state workers’ compensation defense firm, where his practice was devoted to workers’ compensation defense.  He joined Montstream Law Group in 2018.  Attorney Shearer is admitted to the state bar of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.  He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.  His practice involves mainly workers’ compensation defense.
