About the Firm

The workers’ compensation practice involves handling cases at frequent informal, pre-formal, and formal hearings before all of the Workers’ Compensation Commissions throughout the state and on appeal before the Compensation Review Board, Appellate Court, and Connecticut Supreme Court. The firm also represents employers in 31-290a (wrongful discharge) cases in both the workers’ compensation and civil arenas.

Our attorneys also have experience in the handling and defense of Federal Longshore claims as well as the defense of Heart and Hypertension brought by members of Municipal Police and Fire Departments at the trial level and through all levels of appeal.

The civil practice involves handling the trial and appeal of cases involving all aspects of first and third party property/casualty claims, including negligence, medical and legal  malpractice, property cases, products liability, environmental and toxic torts, wrongful discharge, employment related disability and discrimination claims and general insurance law questions.
