KAREN A. ACQUARULO graduated with honors from Quinnipiac University in 1994, and after working a few years as a paralegal went on to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law.  She graduated in 2000 near the top of her class and began working for Montstream Law Group, LLP.  For the next 9 years, she worked as an associate focusing on the defense of workers’ compensation and heart and hypertension claims.  Attorney Acquarulo left to join a firm closer to home as a partner for over a decade, before returning to Montstream Law Group in 2021.  She continues to litigate workers’ compensation cases through trial and appeal, with a focus on medically complex claims.  She has argued before the Compensation Review Board as well as assisting in appeals at the Appellate and Supreme Courts of Connecticut.  She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section and has lectured on workers’ compensation issues for Lorman Education Services as well as to provide seminars to clients.
