DOMINICK C. STATILE received his B.A. from Villanova University in 1988 and his J.D. in 1991 from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, he was a clerk at a small Hartford law firm where he handled civil matters and workers’ compensation CRB appeals. In his final year of law school, he joined Montstream Law Group as a law clerk and became an associate upon graduation in 1991. He was named partner in 2000 and managing partner in 2008. Attorney Statile has handled cases involving all aspects of workers’ compensation, including 290a claims, and has argued numerous times before the Appellate and Supreme Courts of Connecticut. He has written repeatedly for the Connecticut Bar Association’s Compensation Quarterly and has lectured extensively on recent developments in workers’ compensation. He is a member of the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Association and has been a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist since 2001, the first year such certification was allowed. In 2016 he was appointed to the Standing Committee on Workers’ Compensation Certification and remains in that capacity.  He is admitted to practice before the State and U.S. District Court.

Attorney Statile has been named by Connecticut Magazine and Hartford Magazine as one of the area’s top attorneys in Workers’ Compensation Law.
